Anupama Shenoy
is a Deputy Superindent of Police working in Kernataka. She is recently in news
for all the wrong reasons – not from her side.
Anupama Shenoy
is known in Karnataka for her non-confrontational attitudes. She always avoided
fighting with political and corrupt forces. However, she always ensured to work
and does justice with her job without creating problems, without making news.
But, somehow she is in the news.
One a fine day,
she was working in her office. She got a call from the SP of Bellari. She was
talking to the SP and suddenly there was another call on her official number.
The attendant received the call and asked her that labor minister PT
Parameshwara Naik wants to talk to her. As she was talking to SP, she told the
attendant to keep Naik’s phone on hold for few seconds.
Being an honest
officer, she didn’t think that the minister who is dancing on the opium of
power will get angry for just 42 seconds. The minister instantly ordered that
this lady officer should be punished.
Within two days,
Anupama Shenoy got two transfer orders.

above, Anupama Shenoy is the Deputy Superintendant of Police. She was working
in Kudligi in Bellari District when that idiot minister punished her.
There is no harm
in transferring an officer. In fact, this should be a norm. But, this type of
transfer – just because the officer couldn’t attend the call of the minister –
should be avoided and people should come in force to protest against this type
of autocratic behavior.
Anupama is from
Karnataka. She is married and has two children. Her husband and elder son is
staying in Bengaluru. Her husband works as a Software Engineer in a multination
company in Bengaluru.
